UFC Fight Night 146: The UFC keeps spitting out quality heavyweight main events, and UFC Fight Night 146 will be no different. UFC Fight Night is ready to go with a heavyweight match-up between Derrick Lewis and Junior dos Santos set to end in fireworks.

UFC Fight Night 146: Lewis vs. Dos Santos will be held in Wichita, so he is also known as UFC Wichita. The main event of the UFC Fight Night will be Junior Dos Santos, who will compete with the former challenger for the UFC heavyweight title Derrick Lewis.

What has the potential to turn into a hard-hitting heavyweight showdown will take center stage on Saturday night as the UFC Fight Night 146 event touches down in Wichita, Kansas. Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos aims to continue his quest at regaining the heavyweight title as he clashes with one of the more colorful figures in the game and recent heavyweight title challenger Derrick Lewis.

And make no mistake about it, dos Santos (20-5), who’s riding a two-fight win streak since his return to competition in July 2018, has his eyes firmly on the prize. In a recent interview with CBS Sports, the 35-year-old made it clear that going through Lewis on Saturday night in the main event puts him just another step closer to challenging for the title he once called his own.

“Actually, I don’t think I have to do much more than winning fights to get to the title fight because I’m already qualified to be fighting for the title. You know, I already fought for the title before and people know me and they know what I’m capable of,” dos Santos said. “I’m keeping [it] very positive, everything is happening in a good way for me. I want to translate these things out in good results and become champion. Derrick is going to be one more step for this.”

Derrick Lewis is looking for redemption. After being choked out by heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in the main event at UFC 230 in November, the so-called “Black Beast” will face Junior dos Santos at UFC Fight Night 146. It’s a heavyweight matchup worthy of a pay-per-view event, but you can actually watch it for free.

After signing a massive, five-year deal last year, ESPN is now home to UFC Fight Night events, most of which broadcast exclusively on the network’s new streaming service, ESPN+, which you can try out with a free one-week trial.

Dos Santos (20-5-0), a former UFC heavyweight champion with victories notched against Cain Velasquez, Shane Corwin, and more, holds an advantage by most statistical measures. But one should never underestimate Lewis (21-6-0, 1NC), who has the ability to stop fights with sheer blunt-force trauma. The main event card will also feature Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos vs. Curtis Millender in a welterweight bout. In the prelims, former UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship challenger Yana Kunitskaya faces Marion Reneau in a bout that was originally scheduled for UFC 233.
